Greenville's Gassaway Mansion was completed in 1925, built in part by stones from the old Vardry McBee grist mill that dates back to 1776 (additional stones were brought in and treated to match).
The Gassaway Mansion is the largest house in the Upstate, 22,000 square feet, and is listed on The National Register of Historic Places.
These days the Gassaway Mansion hosts weddings. For more photos of the mansion, including historic photographs, visit the website at gassawaymansion.com
