Looking through the Lens: a photographic history of Greenville

Monday, January 28 - 9:00 AM until Sunday, June 2 - 9:30 AM

Explore Greenville through a century of photographs. See how it has gone from a small town with dirt roads and horse-drawn carriages to the vibrant, bustling city it is today. Notable people, businesses, and events are chronicled through historic images, and bygone street scenes are paired with modern views of the city.

This exhibit also explores the history of photography, with a number of vintage cameras on display. See how photography has evolved from primitive images on glass produced by an expert technician to today’s instantaneous digital snapshots that anyone can create.
