Spartanburg Water will be hosting the First Annual Paddle Fest to be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Lake Blalock Park from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Paddle Fest will be an annual event held to connect the community to our reservoirs and increase the stewardship of our water resources. During the event, Spartanburg Water will be hosting 2 educational paddle tours, 4 kayak/canoe races and 2 beginner paddle classes. The Paddle Fest is for all ages and all levels of interest and experience.
Along with these activities, Spartanburg Water has invited local organizations and businesses to set up booths at the event to show how they are contributing to the world of paddling and our environment.
