The Upstate Heritage Quilt Trail started with one quilt square mounted on the Oconee Heritage Center in Walhalla.
It quickly spread to over 100 quilt panels in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties mounted on barns, businesses, homes and public buildings.
The Upstate of South Carolina has a rich quilting heritage as women—and men—of days gone by and of today, capture the beauty of their lives in quilts.
Take the tour and discover quilts of historical patterns and quilts of unique design.
